Progress for June 26

I declined all social obligations of the weekend, including an excellent film, an even-more-excellent concert, and an astoundingly awesome Call of Cthulhu game, all to 1) get chapters plus synopses heaved into the US Mail and 2) develop some traction on the Paizo project. Thankfully, I got a lot of traction. A paperwhirlwind consumed the writing desk most of the weekend, and the keyboard kept clacking. My dog was woefully neglected.

Progress was rapid through the crunchy bits, and I'm taking an old-school approach to the design: make the party suffer. Every single encounter is potentially a TPK, but I tell myself that it's for mid-to-high level PCs, so they ought to know what they are doing by that point. That, or it's my mean streak showing. Playtests will tell.

Discovered Erik Mona has a blog, the Analytical Engine. The sneaky guy has been hiding it out in plain view for MONTHS. I especially like his June 4 musing on the "Gith candidate".

MUWAHAAHA! The feed is working! It's working!

Ahem. It's "analyticalengin", if you'd like to add it. Apparently there's a character limit on the feed names.
