Coins Are Big And Heavy

The more you read, the funnier this long, analytical Dungeonomicon gets. Well, if you are a big D&D geek.

OMG, that is friggin' hilarious. From now on, I'm going to think of all paladins as incipient communists. It fits.

Okay, I'd pick Grand Master of Flowers.

LMAO - too funny! And smart, too. I've never taken the time to go through the equipment list and map out how much weight in gold vs. how much weight in the item.

Hmm, random Q - remember at WW, a bunch of us were gathered in the registration area and Elizabeth pulled a half-laptop thing out of her bag and we all went "Wow, what is that?" I wrote down the name of the thing and now can't find it. Do you, by any chance, have the name somewhere or other?

Yep, I've been watching them on eBay. It was an NEC MobilePro 780. They are also available in a 790 and a 900.

peartreealley swears by her AlphaSmart; similar size but a single-purpose writing device, no browser, nothing but text. Kind of appealing.

Yes, I've checked out the Alphasmart before, but I don't like the itty bitty screen - it's why I gave up on using my Palm and attachable keyboard as a portable writing device. The NEC screen looks more like something my eye will like. I also like how the screen flips down over the keyboard, so the keys are protected while traveling. :)
