GAAAAAAAaaaaaaah!

"The licensing subsystem has failed catastrophically. You must reinstall or call customer support."

Hate hate hate Adobe. oni_anne suggested a registry hack might fix their craptastic crapware. I'm off to try it.

AH! What is this, like the fourth time?

Sorry to hear it. I know this is exactly what you *don't* need right now.

If I offer to beat up Adobe for you, does that make it better? I'll hit it in the face with a sock-full of nickels.

Yeah, this is the fourth time, though only the third time on this particular PC.

They certainly *deserve* a sockful of nickels to the face, but it's Christmas, so let's be merciful.

ouch! Have seen the Adobe Licensing Engine failing to that degree on a friend's computer! I'm sorry to hear it! If its costing you business hours, then I would see if you can get a replacement copy of your software. I would imagine that your copy is borked if re-installation doesn't help at all.

Also, here is the KB article on the topic:

XP or Vista?

I ask because Adobe has had a slew of problems with Vista, that even the new versions don't even seem to have addressed really.
