Monster Madness

Andy Collins has put together a showdown and a throwdown of the 64 toughest monsters in D&D, called Monstrous Madness 2004. Apparently it's related to some real-world sporting event. His readers are voting in the various monster vs. monster matchups, and commenting on their favorites. Yes, some of my comments are on the site as well.

I can't read the site without turning on the little Howard Cosell voice inside: "Up from the minor leagues, it's new kid chuul taking on the beholdah on his home turf." It's just funny stuff.

Oh, and giant space hamsters lost by a whisker. So go vote.

Re: Gnolls
I love crossing the streams. Fandom is all about the /.

In this case, it's gnoll/Cthulhu, which is particularly vile.
