Cover Art

As an amusement and distraction from the work of writing and editing, I put together a couple of book covers. Kind of inspirational. I used public domain art by new favorite, Richard Parkes Bonington, a tragically short-lived Englishman (1802-1828).

Anyone have any idea how to post images to LJ? It seems like I have to host them somewhere else and point back... Or better yet, I'll emails one to them as wants one.

i would love to see the book covers.

if you want a free picture hosting service, fotopages.com is relatively fair. or you can just get your own free website from angelfire.com and upload the pics there and then you can host your own pictures. either one works. and they're FREEEEEEEEE!

oh and congrats on writing over 4000 words. us aspiring novelists must stick together. :)

Thanks for the pointers. I should have the covers up shortly. Okay, maybe by the end of the week.

The 4000 words is actually fairly standard for a weekend for me; I've been writing professionally in the game world so long that the problem isn't so much creating the text as refining and fixing it. I think I'll probably throw about 1000 words of that 4000.

And may I ask, what's your novel about? How's it coming?

you certainly may ask, although, which novel would you like to hear about? lol. well, the one i'm working on now is basically about six college kids during their senior year and a love triangle ensues and then there's the standard "what to do with my life now" and all that jazz. i'm actually almost done with it, but who knows? i could go back through it and totally revamp everything, which is highly likely.

i'll be on the look out for the covers.

by the way, what publisher do you go through?
