Chow Yun Fat's new movie opens this weekend! Unfortunately, this one is seems like it might be more Hollywood than the stuff that made him famous, and it also stars the guy who played Stiffler, which is a little weird. I have modest hopes for this picture; some decent martial arts, some funny lines, and not too much beyond that. In other words, I'll catch a matinee.
Just the sort of thing for Easter, I should think. Anyone else going to see it?

They cut the fight scenes too much, and were too close-up (who cares about their faces?), and of course the story was typical Honk Kongy, but woo hoo it was fun! Perhaps as much fun was the preview for "Shaolin Soccer"!
You see this movie to see Chow Yun Fat at his most charming and funny, and the rest is just bonus.

We didn't get the preview for "Shaolin Soccer," but did get the one for Legally Blonde II: Red, White, and Blonde. Reese Witherspoon is quite amusing.
The inclusion of a crazy occult Nazi was just to cool for words.
At the showing we went to we got to see the preview for Pirates of the Caribbean, which has me in a mega-twitter.
